Fourth bookout

This week was manageable. We had Basic Trainfire Package on Wednesday. The entire company spent the entire morning till four pm zeroing our weapons. Platoon One and Platoon Two proceeded with the day and night test. I barely managed to scrape through. Still, the feeling of hitting the target is exhilirating. Live firing is quite similar to the simulator. The recoil is easy to deal with once the zeroing is done properly.

We had IPPT on Saturday. My performance was quite lousy. I need to put in more effort.

I didn’t do much this weekend, just went to Mass with my parents on Saturday.

We will be confined next week, due to the Field Camp starting from the 27th to the 1st of November. I’ll be missing All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day. Maybe I’ll make up for it on the weekend.

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Requiescant in pace. Amen.
