I have just moved house. For the first time in 15 years I’m living in a HDB flat. My brother jokingly remarks, ‘Oh yay, now we’re Singaporeans.’ Well the house is still quite messy, because we haven’t finished unpacking yet.
It is smaller compared to my last house, but it is bigger than some of the flats elsewhere. I guess I’ve been living too good a life, residing in private housing for most of my natural life.
But no worries, I’ll get used to this soon.
Hmm I wonder what the guy at the opposite block is doing. Maybe I should get a pair of binoculars and spy at him.
The good thing about my area is that it has many bus services. More accessible than my last place.
Sigh, my days in NYP are coming to an end. Tomorrow is the last week of school. The week after is study break.
The week after that is finals.
I don’t know, even if I get all As for this semester, my diploma still looks bad. But never mind that, I’ll just go for it anyway. I shall do my best, God will do the rest.
But really, applying to the local uni is a real….never mind. When asked to choose five courses, I realise that it’s quite difficult. Argh, if I haven’t slacked off in year one I wouldn’t be complaining and worrying like hell.
Kids, take my advice. Don’t slack off if you go to poly. Or you’ll be like me. =(
Falling through the cracks of the system, I have come to realise the GRAVITY of this situation. Hur hur hur hur hur….
